“The son of poor Italian immigrants struggling for a better life in early 20th-century New York” (Iorizzo,back of book.) Al Capone had collected $100 million dollars before being sent to Alcatraz. In 1929 it was $100 million but due to inflation his net worth was about $1.3 billion dollars.
Al Capone’s obstacles were mainly police and other types of law enforcement. His dreams were to become a very rich and wealthy man. Alphonse Capone achieved those dreams by having a very wealthy and vast business empire. Al had quite a list of criminal records, he had multiple concealed weapon charges, $200,000 worth of tax evasion and other crimes.
