Why Is Animal Farm Still Relevant

“Animal farm”, is it still relevant to our society? In my eyes that would be a yes because most of the “animals” in the book actually symbolize people in our society. For example, in the allegory ,“Animal Farm”, there is a particular character called napoleon who is the leader of the group, but he keeps on changing the laws of the farm without the consent of the animals and to make it into his benefit. According to the text,”Animal Farm”, it says, “From now onwards Animal farms would engage in trade with the neighbouring farms: not, of course, for any commercial purpose”. When this happened, many animals were remembering that doing things like humans was outlawed. Napoleon in our society depicts Donald Trump because he has Authorized construction of Keystone and Dakota Access pipelines; Which a lot of people were in disagreement with, and started to protest. …show more content…
For Example, people might say that “Napoleon” was just trying to achieve a lot more resources to be able to have a better life, but in fact this was against the laws that old major has set upon the “animals” in animal farm, plus when he did do those negotiations, he would hog the best for him. In the real life example some people may say that the oil from the access pipes of Keystone and Dakota will create a great impact in resources. The only thing that this was actually doing was it interfered with the people’s water supply. Something that i am still wondering is that when Donald Trump gave the ok to the reconstruction of the pipelines, did he even care that the water was being contaminated? Or is he just doing it for the money that he will
