Why Is Compassion Important To Be Homeless

We can't deny that homelessness exists when it hits us in the face everyday. I was a kind of person who always ignored homeless. Perhaps I didn't even know how to show compassion the people. My friends used to tell me I am a heartless because I don't have empathy for the people. But once time I saw my father treating a homeless man so kindly by giving him foods and money and brought homeless face nice smile. Since then I started feel compassion for others. I believe that compassion isn’t something a person is born with compassion is developed through learning or personal experience.
When I was ten years old and I remember that there is always a homeless man that appear in my community. I remember the way he looked, just like all of the other, buttonless shirt, baggy trousers and his face and hair was always full of dust and with the stinky smell. The people who live in our community feel really uncomfortable of the homeless appearance and whenever they pass by him, people always throw a vicious eyesight to him and leave him as far as possible. He has taught me the importance of compassion instead of the word of compassion. For example, When it comes to people being nice and having compassion those type of things are learned. When kids grow up they pay attention to their surroundings and reflect them. So if they grow up around people that are mean, most likely they will in up being mean. But if they are brought up to be kind to others then they will be kind. However, I want to do the same thing that my dad did to that homeless, it is easy to have the negative imagine for homeless because some of them do not have clean apparel and might follow you just because they want some money or foods from you. Since then, every time when I encounter homeless, my dad’s motivation always remind me that kind is an option and I have the ability to do something to help them, to make them feel better and
