Why Is Compulsory Voting Unconstitutional

In the united states the right for all citizens to vote came to us in the 15th amendment. In some countries as such as most of africa like in argentina they enforce compulsory voting. In the united states it would be unconstitutional to force us to vote, but if we did do compulsory voting we can turn in a blank ballot. With the compulsory voting we would have more people voting, but there would be more random votes. Compulsory voting would be unconstitutional and would hurt our elections.
We need to stay with the option to vote. If we went to compulsory voting there would be more uneducated voters to mess things up. The fact that most of our people today one do not care, or two think they know, but they do not do their research before going to the poles. With the way we run our elections today if you choose not to vote you don’t help the election, but you don’t hurt the election either. Some people also don’t like being told what they can and can't do. There would be people rebelling just to cause problems. The compulsory voting will infringe on other rights such as free religion, because some religions are against political events. This would upset many americans who don't want to vote, or don't want to support any of the candidates.

Even the people getting voted in sometimes are against their voting system for instance Mark Latham did not like it. Mark Latham urged voters to turn in blank ballots, or just take the fine of $170 to protest about the government's way of doing things. There are currently 15 different countries that enforce the ways of compulsory voting. There are currently 16 countries that have the compulsory voting system, but do not enforce it. In all of those countries There are a fair amount of people who disagree with the voting
