A. Basic Operations 1. Operating Procedures Businesses are all operated in different ways depending on what service or product they provide. For example, companies sometimes rely on suppliers to sell a product. Wiser Tutoring has no key suppliers since the only supplies that are needed are intelligence and knowledge. Even though the business does not require any key supplies, it does need workers. A tutoring session is performed by a single private tutor. The person who performs the service, right now myself, would tutor twice a week. The business would be available in the afternoons every day of the week. One tutoring session takes 1 hour for whatever topic the customer chooses. The service is performed at a public location of choice by the customer, for example a library. However, this does not mean that Wiser Tutoring does not strive to meet the highest standards. Wiser Tutoring wants to be properly regulated by OSHA because they focus on the safety aspect of the business which is crucial. A critical part of operating Wiser Tutoring is to make sure that everyone is treated fairly. The business thrives on helping as many students as possible which is why it important to have EEOC approval. The EEOC makes sure that there is no discrimination by enforcing all possible federal laws to bring equality.
