James is desperate to be cool because he would go to some very extreme lengths to be with the cool kids. I know that because in ” Your Move “ it states “My fingers are so numb I can’t make the paint spray out of the can. When it does, the whoosh blows back on me. But now I’m writing K-BONES, looping the letters over the ones already there. ”
