Did you know that 70% of zoo animals all around the world are on antidepressants? Unfortunately, this isn’t just certain zoos it is almost every where because of how abused and sad the animals are. Zoos are a bad place for animals because they trap them and abuse them, animals can cause harm and damage to things, and lastly they don’t all have enough apparatus to care for the animals.

One of the main reasons is that zoos trapping animals is abuse and is cruel to them for this set of evidence. Studies have shown that incarceration causes mental issues for animal and also can kill them from stress. Because of zoos trapping them it is cruel and hurts the animals which is animal abuse. People for some reason like to throw food.rocks,etc and also tease the animals and those stuff can sometimes kill the animal. Wouldn’t it be bad if we were locked up and had stuff thrown at us, Yes it would be cruel and it is also cruel towards the animal. Also animals need to hibernate which requires food to survive and there has been many incidents when they had no food and have starved to death.

Since 1990, 15 people have died from various causes that came from zoos as well as 100 people being injured from zoos. Therefore animals in incarceration will stop for no reason from killing humans after they had trapped them. Not only in zoos but sometimes there had been something bad happening in zoos that cause resentful people that will start fights over something.
