There is a single passion in my life that drives me and inspires me every day, a passion that I will never truly master, a passion that both gives and takes; skiing. At the age of only two, my parents strapped me into first pair boots and took me up to the peak of Squaw Valley. The scenic view of the inspiring Lake Tahoe along with the thousands of trees that populate the area created a scene of pure beauty that allowed for a backdrop as I began to master this winter sport. We went up to Tahoe, my brother, my parents, and myself, every weekend and break throughout the entire ski season year after year as I progressed through the ranks of the Squaw Valley Ski Team from Mighty Mites all the way to the Squaw Valley Race Team.
