Abortion should be banned in the United States. For example, once the child is born, you could give it up for adoption. It costs nothing to give a baby up for adoption, but it does cost money to get an abortion. The website American Adoptions states that “There are many hopeful parents waiting for a prospective birth mother to choose them”. Some families can not have their own children, so instead of getting an abortion, give the child up for adoption so a couple has the chance of having a child. In addition, abortion is basically murder. Life starts at conception and by getting an abortion, a murder is being committed. “This individual has a fundamental right to life, which must be protected” (ProCon.org).
