Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin. Lincoln’s mother who is Nancy Hanks had him on February 12, 1809 and his father is Thomas Lincoln. His mother died on February 5, 1784 and was born on October 5, 1818. His mother was 34 years old when she died and she died of tremetol a milk sickness. Abraham’s father was born on January 6, 1778 and died on January 17, 1851. He was 73 years old when he died. Abraham Lincoln has one sister and one brother, his sisters name is Sarah Lincoln and his brothers name is Thomas Lincoln the same as his dad’s name. When Lincoln was a child his mother was a very religious person and taught the children about the Bible. She did like school but it was uncommon in these types of small areas. When Lincoln was about seven years old a school opened but it was 9 miles away. When Lincoln's mother died his father had to go and find a new wife when he came back he had a new wife and 3 new children. When Abraham’s father left to find a new wife Lincoln and his sister were left home alone and the house was a big mes.
