Social Limitations
African Americans had many social limitations. Public utilities like public bathrooms and water fountains were taken away from them, they also had to go to different schools than the whites, and it was very rare but if they did go to the same school as the white people they would be treated differently. African Americans were socially limited to a lot of things but the most horrible social limitations came from a group called Ku Klux Klan. The Ku Klux Klan led a campaign against African Americans and they harassed, intimidated, and killed them and anyone who supported them.
