Most people today believe that HIV and AIDS originated in Africa ("Acquired immune deficiency syndrome: biological, medical, social, and legal issues”). However, no one really knows where the virus originated from. Thousands of conspiracy theories are mixed everyday making shocking claims about anything. Examining the first cases, the first outbreak, and many other important factors in the history of AIDS, many different possibilities have been proposed regarding the origin of the disease (“The Politics of Conspiracy Theories”). Some people believe that it was the U.S. Government who created aids. According to this conspiracy theory, the U.S. Government created AIDS to eradicate homosexuals and black people because these two groups are detested minority groups in America. While the other conspiracy theory known as the theory explains, there is no possible way that they U.S. Government created HIV it was nature that created AIDS. I chose this topic because I want my reader to know what people think about the origin of AIDS.

According to this theory, HIV was created by the U.S. Government to wipe out black people and homosexuals since these two minority groups have always been hated and targeted throughout America ("Conspiracy theories of HIV/AIDS”). Government infected their targets by inserting HIV particle into vaccines and then vaccinating into their targets. Gay men were most likely infected through the hepatitis B vaccine and Africans were possibly infected through the smallpox immunization program. In summary, the U.S. government created HIV and used vaccination programs as a tool to inject and kill gay men and black people.
