The Alba collection is an incredibly important historic collection in Spain. It has works of painting, sculpture, or drawing and about anything you can think of related to art. Usually to go see the collection you would have had to visit one of the Family’s Palaces in Europe. This collection is incredibly famous in spain and a legacy of one of the great aristocratic dynasties of Europe. It is a heritage the family has worked to preserve for 500 years. That is why it is very fortunate to be able to see it in The Frist Center for the visual arts in Downtown Nashville. The museum has co-organized with the Meadows Museum and the Casa de Alba Foundation to graciously share with the public the family’s personal collection of more than 130 works of
