Zinczenko notes that as a child growing up he had limited choices for food which always included fast-food twice a week, due to his father being gone and his mother working full-time. Due to the constant eating out at fast-food chains, Zinczenko became obese. He states that going to college and becoming involved in a health and fitness magazine, he was able to turn his life around.
