In the book Night by Eli Wiesel, He describes this scene after being in a train car for days with little food and water. It was mostly standing room only and people where at a loss for words. When the train finally stopped it was at a place called Auschwitz. When they got off the train hours later what they saw made their minds go numb. There was a smell in the air that burned your nose as black plums went in to the sky from a big brick building. Family’s where split up mothers and daughters to the gas chambers men to the fields.
