The book Night by Elie Wiesel is a story that recalls Elie’s life when he was forced into concentration camps during the time of Adolf Hitler. The story was heavy and had many impactful parts. Some greatly impact and stand out to me. When Elie was in the concentration camp, a man told him “It’s over”. God is no longer with us.” (Wiesel 76). This impacts me in a significant way because I have my own religion and it’s very sad to know that through the great hardship they were going through, they gave up on the God they loved so much so quickly. This also contributes to the message of Elie Wiesel’s memoir due to the fact that a message that can be taken is that through those situations or such situations, it’s easy for some to lose faith and kind
