Being raised in a large family of nurses and allied health professional, I never lacked anything. I got anything I wanted and I never had to worry about dropping out of school like some kids because my parents financially capable. However, I felt out of place because I did not want to go into medical field. So, I started volunteer at the hospital, going to a nursing home out of necessity and after a length of time then I realized how appropriate my background made me for nursing. I already knew some of medical terminology, basic anatomy, and physiology, and was learning more about lab work and medications with my family. I also was granted the blessing of being able to work with some exceptional nurses that really cared for and about their patients; Nurses that would do everything in their power to make a patient feel better emotionally and physically. That is what I hope to become, provide extraordinary care every day and be an inspiration to others to strive for a higher level of care.
I plan on majoring in nursing, even though, this career path will be a challenging one, I have no doubt, but I intend to push through it. I took my first step by being certified as a nursing assistant to worked alongside with healthcare practitioners and become

Nursing is a profession I have looked upon with respect. I believe that the role of a nurse can be very challenging and hectic at times, as well as rewarding and fulfilling. In my understanding, a person who is willing to become a nurse needs to have good interpersonal skills, be a good listener empathetic, eager to learn and strive to improve themselves. I believe I possess all the above qualities and will endeavor to maintain and improve on them each
