A family is worth more than the world to most parents. Having a happy and functional family is what we all really strive for in this rapid paced modern lifestyle we live. We all hope for the clearest and brightest futures for our kids and even ourselves. Our children will go to school and become doctors or even lawyers. You will have a great job, with great benefits and one day even be able to retire and live comfortably on the forever diminishing social security.
People may begin to wonder if this perfect world is obtainable with challenges and difficulties along the way both physically and mentally. As a parent, there is nothing more they want than to see their kids succeed and be happy. Finding out that a child or even a family member has an impairment such as autism could be devastating for most people and even very scary. Autism changes the way people look at a family and their living situations, but it's not always a negative aspect in life. Many can learn a great deal from just simply accepting and trying to turn every negative into a very beautiful and uplifting positive.

(85) Autism is shown to impact the everyday life of the person with the disorder and affects how they go about their daily routine.
