In this article, Connelly discusses about Audrey Hepburn and her role in UNICEF. Hepburn took the role of Good Will Ambassador for the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund. The article said that Hepburn held that unpaid position until she died from cancer. Connelly talked about how Hepburn traveled to countries that had a series of misfortunes. Hepburn helped individuals who were in distress through the wars, famine and diseases. She raised awareness through interviews and speeches which then helped raised millions of dollars in relief funds. Eventually, Connelly discusses that Hepburn’s work earned her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992.

Hepburn influenced individuals to help others through her speeches and interviews. She raised millions of dollars for individuals who suffered through wars, hunger, and diseases. Audrey Hepburn traveled to different countries to help those who were in difficult situations and that inspired others to help by donating money. She spent five years traveling the world and participating in charity work to benefit children who suffered like she did once. With Audrey Hepburn’s compassion and her willingness, she was able to show the world that there are individuals that needed our aid. Eventually through her cry for help, we began to realize that we can help children live a safe, happy and healthy
