Some say technology is a burden to society, however technology is actually benefiting humanity in many ways. Technology has been growing more and more and now robots are assisting everyone in different ways. Science fiction author Ray Bradbury wrote a short story titled “August 2026: There Will Come Soft Rains.” This story feature futuristic settings where robots and technology are very advanced and designed to help people with their everyday life. Another document that shows how robots are beneficial is the nonfiction article “Students, Meet Your New Teacher, Mr. Robot” by Carey Benedict and John MArkoff. The article tells many advantages of robots working with children. The video called “Will Small Step For Robot Lead to Giant Leap for Mankind” displays robots helping people, all people, children, disabled and even astronauts. Technology benefits humanity more than it is a hindrance.

Ray Bradbury’s short story describes the benefit of having a machinery filled house that cleans, cooks, and makes your schedule. The non-fiction article “Students, Meet Your New Teacher, Mr. Robot” mainly focuses on the idea of the use of robots in the classroom, and so far, there has been minimal to no negative impacts on students that have interacted with teaching robots.
