The epic “Beowulf” from the oral tradition is a long narrative about a legendary hero. Beowulf, an epic hero, goes on a quest and defeats strong monsters. Beowulf's bravery and strength let him to succeed in his quest, putting his life in danger but gaining respect from the people, and being recognized as a hero even after death. Strength is a major factor in whether a hero succeeds in his quest.
