Bravery In Odysseus In Homer's Odyssey

Odysseus, throughout his journey, experiences and overcomes hardships when he gets stuck with Polyphemus and when he was with Circe and the rest of the men. When Odysseus gets stuck with the Polyphemus, he shows bravery when he saves his men from the Polyphemus. Odysseus and his men snuck in, uninvited, to the Polyphemus’ place when he was not home. When Polyphemus got home, they were still there in the middle of his home. Polyphemus blocked the door to his home off so Odysseus and his men couldn’t escape. Polyphemus called to them, “’Strangers’”. (Homer 9.156) When Odysseus hears Polyphemus he has to quickly react and think of something to say or run so they don’t get eaten.
