Kansas “Breadbasket of America”

Situated in an almost central location in the United States, Kansas is the 15th largest state in the country. The political party of Kansas is Republican. In terms of population, It was claimed that Kansas had reached 2,885,905 of its growth. The male population is about 1,328,474 and female population is 1,359,944. In the economy, Kansas is an important agricultural state, ranking 7th among the states for total production. In terms of revenue, Kansas top five agricultural products are cattle and calves, wheat, corn for grain, soybeans, and hogs. In the wine industry, There currently are 22 licensed wineries producing more than 50,000 gallons of wine. Kansa’s vintners have received more than 300 international awards for their wines in recent years. Livestock, the highest agricultural revenue in Kansas is generated by raising cattle and calves. The revenues produced by this activity account for about 60% of the states total agricultural production. Hogs and dairy products are also important in the state. Such as crops, Kansas largest crop is wheat. It accounts for about 12% of the states total agricultural production. In fact, Kansas is the number 1 wheat-producing state, generating about 15% of the nations total crop. Corn for grain is another valuable Kansa crop, contributing about 9% of the states total agricultural revenue. In the dairy industry, butter, cheese, frozen products, evaporated, condensed, and dry milk is also produced. When it comes to religion, out of 51%, about of 15% identify as Roman Catholic, making it the largest denomination in the state of Kansas. Those that identify as Baptist make up the next largest denomination with about 10%
