In the chaos called life was undertake the task to prepare for my trip. Determined to finish packing, I chose to swing by Scottsdale Fashion Square to start buying necessary clothing items for my trip. The broken social norm was by sitting in an elevator, specifically located immediately by the buttons or in the middle, and would strive to spark a conversation. The societal norm is to stand and avoid being in proximity to other strangers by being entertained on our cell phones or talking to a friend. My violation was sitting in an elevator where people usually stand and isolate themselves from the strangers they involuntarily share space with for a couple seconds.
