Pearl Harbor is the biggest naval base in Hawaii. Pearl Harbor was a horrible event that had happened in Honolulu, Hawaii between the United States and Japan. Pearl Harbor was an event where Japan bombed and ambushed the United States naval base called Pearl Harbor. Some people might be wondering how it was caused, how it was resolved, or what Pearl Harbor is that led the United States to join World War Two and make allies with other countries. Therefore, the United States got revenge on Japan for what they did to the naval base.

Pearl Harbor is a United States naval base in Honolulu, Hawaii that was destroyed by the Japanese naval forces. Japan had a plan that they called the “Hawaiian Operation’’ where they would plan to ambush Pearl Harbor and destroy everything in their way. Therefore, the Japanese had two waves of fighter planes that were equipped with torpedoes and a variety of other bombs, the first wave had 183 fighter planes and the second wave had a total of 167 fighter planes. Next, the Japanese began ambushing the harbor on December 7, 1941, killing more than 2,400 people and injured 1,000 including civilians and destroying 20 American naval vessels.
