In 1763 king george the 3 declared the appalachian mountains where the temporary boundary for western colonies.
Before the war the french bought the appalachian mountains and the settlers were angry because they couldn't expand like they were promised.
In late 1773 three ships arrived in the Boston harbor the colonists asked them to turn back but they refused and they proceeded to unload their tea but men from the Sons of Liberty got on first and started dumping tea into the boston harbor thus causing the Boston tea party.
