For this project i researched Clara barton.What i wanted to found out about her was what did she do tin the civil war and how she affected it.She was homeschooled and was a very smart girl she started teaching at the age of 15.Crazy huh! She attended liberal Institute at Clinton N.Y. In Bordentown N.J., she established a free school that became so big that they subjected it to be run by men,later Barton resigned.She was then employed as a U.S patent office in Washington,D.C.,from 1854-1857 and then again in 1850.
