Have you ever wondered about the culture of Native Americans? Native Americans have been mistreated for generations and had their land stolen from them. When European settlers came to America, they were treated poorly. Some settlers befriended the Native Americans but others scolded them. The settlers wanted to give them blankets that were riddled with disease in order to expand into the New World. At one point, the Native Americans were subjugated. The Native American culture was vastly different from the settlers. Their culture is essential because their appreciation for animals and nature provides a different viewpoint than the rest of us. We must learn from the natives in order for generations to sustain in the future.
