Egypt: THE BLACK LAND AN THE RED LAND

Egypt had one of the greatest civilizations in the whole world.

THE RED LAND

All of Egypt shares a similar arid climate. Temperatures in summer daytime were scorching. They go up to 104 degrees. Conditions in the countries desert are more brutal than the ones in the adjacent river valley. The ancient Egyptians called their deserts the Red Land. The Red Land include waterless vally’s, desolate plateaus and titanic seas of drifting sand. The Red land is not literally red. The White Desert is carved from a snowy limestone. The Black Desert, is etched from volcanic rock as dark as ebony. The Egyptians spend very little time in Red Land. The Egyptians have village’s that are huddled
