Ethical Actions Worksheet

Write a 100- to 150-word response to each of the following questions:

Was there anything in either the University Of Phoenix Student Code Of Conduct or the Student Code of Academic Integrity that surprised you? If so, what was it? Why were you surprised? If not, why not? I’ve readied over both the University Of Phoenix Student Code Of Conduct and the Student Code of Academic Integrity and I even readied them both over again just to be sure I understood what was being said. Nothing stuck out to me or surprised me at all. Everything seemed like it was in place. It all made a lot of sense to me and seemed honest. They both let me know what was required of me, what they expected and what the consequences were if I did not follow the rules and regulations. I understand the reason for this it was not really surprising to me this is because I’m used to reading these types of things. I attended other Universities of this kind it has prepared me and I got used to reading Student Code of Conduct, Student Code of Academic Integrity and I understood what I have read. It was no big surprise for me to understand that in the University of Phoenix code of conduct, students that are disruptive by the University of Phoenix and the mission, process, or function of the University may be subject to disciplinary action. This is not a surprise to me because for so long it has always been understood by many that as long as a student go to class, participate, and fully succeed, than they were in good standing. These characteristics such as: hazing, falsification or sexual harassment is understood to be intolerable violations against other. Failure to cooperate or comply with and ongoing investigation or being under the influence of drugs, are not surprising violation to me. An educational learning environment has taken a turn for the better. Furthermore, setting guidelines for students who violate the code of conduct creates a safe and secure learning environment. Also, this makes it easier for students to trust each other as well as faculty.

What did you learn about the behaviors considered important for an ethical learner or student in the University of Phoenix learning community?

At first I wasn’t too sure where to search If I was supposed to search the community for the answer to this question or not. I searched for a while and I finally realized while I was searching that I was looking at the behavior that was considered necessary for the University on every page I come upon. We’re all here trying to achieve the same success in live. So why would we all not act as according. From what I have seen on the community and the home page as well as with the classroom is that everyone is pretty friendly. We’re expecting for each one of us for helping ether most of the time. We should all treat each other with respect and kindness at all times. Which this is all I have witnessed since I have been a part of the University of phoenix community. I have learned that the ethical learners behavior deals with us being honest and well as our character and how we present it to the world. Our behavior as an ethical leaner also deals with our values and actions that we show every day. Being an ethical learner I should somewhat have tasks and goals such as I mentioned being honest with what I do like cheating and by cheating I will be doing nothing but building myself to have poor character and taking away my learning experiences, also I‘ll becoming a great listener so I‘ll be able to
