Contract for Intervention Plan
Client Names: Daniel Cooper, Tarea Cooper, Kadan Cooper, Kason Cooper
1. Description of the Problem: Daniel has been unfaithful in his marriage multiple times. He spends little time with his sons unless it is for baseball.
2. Primary Goals: Daniel will remain faithful to Tarea and spend time with his sons pursuing activities other than baseball. The family will work together to rebuild trust and strengthen relationships.
3. We, the undersigned, agree to the objective in the following plan:
a. Daniel and Tarea will attend marriage counseling at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. for at least six months.
b. Daniel will take Kadan and Kason out at least one night a month, together or separately,

The marriage counselor can be contacted to check on the attendance of Daniel and Tarea in marriage counseling. The pastor will be called to make sure that the family kept their appointment for family counseling for the six months. Kadan and Kason both use social media for pictures. The social media can be a way for them to post pictures of their outing with their father and will be a way to make sure that Daniel is carrying out that part of the contract. If each family member participates in the goal and objectives agreed upon, it will be easy for them to work together and track progress and success. It is vital that each family member holds one another accountable. Charts could be created to keep a tally of what accomplishments were made and hurdles were overcome. It would be important for each family member to be active in the entire process of the intervention.
Reflection
I enjoyed doing this project. This project was much more comfortable for me to do than the role playing that we had to record video of us doing. From doing this assignment, I learn that working with families/groups, will be completely different than working with individuals. I realized that my questions had to be addressed to certain people depending on who I wanted to answer. Rules needed to be set that required respect and allowed for each person to talk at their own time. I learned that some people will open up freely about problems; while others will not even be aware a problem exists. I believe this assignment will contribute to my professional development because I know in my professional career I will be interviewing families. The assignment allowed for me a time to “practice” for future interviews that I will have. I hope that with each family interview, whether for an assignment or an actual client, I will gain confidence and help to perfect skills that I have and will
