Joining FFA was the best decision of my life. My interests in agriculture exploded. It helped me to confirm that I want to spend rest of my life helping animals and being part of show life. I am going to graduate with a degree in veterinary medicine. I plan on opening my own practice, where I will treat both large and small animals. Treating large animals will allow me to help the ranchers in my community. Since I have shown steers, I understand that ranchers cannot afford to spend exuberant amounts of money on their animals. These animals are their livelihood and need to be treated in the most cost effective way possible. Therefore, I will keep my prices affordable so ranchers are able to make the most profit they can.
