For one to be successful in life, you need to prepare yourself, take advantage of surrounding resources, and acquire as many skills or traits needed to achieve the best outcome. As a First Generation college student, the one trait needed to succeed is passion, which I believe naturally cultivates other traits. It allows you to plan, which then pushes to elevate things to a higher standard as of how you would want it to be. When you’re passionate about something, because of the love you have for that particular thing, you know that it’s worth fighting for. When your all is in to it, it doesn’t take much from you and it’s easier to relate. It doesn’t become or feel like a forceful task and it isn’t something that would require a lot first, …show more content…
Because I severely want it, I’m willing to take the necessary steps when thing don’t always go right. You’re able to make hard decisions without any regrets and to firmly stand by those decisions. There would always be frustrations, failures, let downs and bumps along the way. But being able to accept those things that didn’t go right, allows you to make the certain changes needed and always thrust to put forth that effort.
Even with things not going the way we expect them to be, you should be able to sustain rejection. Because you have confidence in your product or whatever it is that you’re putting out and bringing forth into the society, when things occur unexpectedly, you don’t let it affect your outcome. And when you feel that you’re stuck at a crossroad, you’ll able to pick up and put together what needs to be in place. With passion you will always stay focus on that goal of success.
Though you’re passionate about something, it doesn’t necessarily mean you know or have the answer to everything. This means being ready to avail yourself to learn new attributes needed to flourish. Learning new things begins when assessing in different elements and going beyond your boundaries to assure what works best for that
