In Latin America they have a free trade which helped Latin America. The free trade came into Latin America in January, 1962. By 1970, the free trade expanded to four more Latin American countries, including Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. The free trade has brought many positive changes to Latin America. Such as, industries can increase their resources by being allowed to trade with other countries in the trade agreements. The importing and exporting countries increase their overall economy.
Some of the problems that occur with the free trade system is the countries are typically grouped together by their economic strength. This is a problem because not all countries are economically wealthy. Some countries in Latin America are

Latin America has an easier way of getting goods from the US and European countries making Latin America more diverse with its resources. This trade could attracted more people making Latin America a more financial place.

In Colombia the main environmental issue is soil erosion and deforestation. The soil erosion has resulted in a loss of vegetation and heavy rainfall. The government has set several activities to protect the soil and deforestation. In 1959 the Amazon Forest, The Andean area, and the Pacific Coast were protected. In 1973 the government created the National Resources and Environment Code. The main institute was the Development of Renewable Natural Resources and the Environment (NDERENA).
In Mexico, the government and the World Bank has helped developed rules for people who are mitigating and adapting to different climate changes. In Mexico, the climate change makes it hard for people to live, therefore their economy will decreased because the people is not able to adapt to their environment.
