According to frontlines’ website, their audience is men and women aged from 35-49. This particular documentary was on target for those who typically view this show. Most of the people this age have children that are pre-teens or even in the teenage years that are using social media. So not only do the parents use social media every day, so do their children. The way frontline put this documentary together flowed nicely so the viewers can see how when they or their children login and start liking different things and how the bigger companies can then see what they like and how to advertise to that person. It also showed how the companies use the consumer in a way they can do the advertising for the company for free and reach a far greater group
