In the last few years, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have flooded our diets with genetically transformed foods, which have negatively affected our health as well as regional communities. Being almost immune to pesticides, GMOs are constructed by splicing the genes of different species that are then combined through the use of genetic engineering (GE). Eating all of these genetically altered foods have been linked to an increased risk cancer and various other diseases. Unfortunately, we do not even know that we are ingesting these damaging organisms as they are suffused into our food without us being aware of it; this is partly due to the lack of GMO labeling laws. As an aftereffect, these animals have been tormented due to the health problems carried on by GMOs. Lab animals that were tested by feeding them a strictly GM diet had an unbelievable amount of side effects; not limited to, but including: cancerous cell growth in the intestines, less developed brains, increased death rates, damaged immune systems, dwarfed growth, and ulcers. If this data is any manifestation as to how we, ourselves, will be damaged after long-term vulnerability to GMOs, then I am certainly not looking forward to our
