As John F. Kennedy said, “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future.” GMOs are genetically modified organisms that have a strain of chromosomes from one organism to another organism. GMOs are made to help the country with what they need to be done with it. There is still a fear of these organisms have dangerous components such as allergies, poison, and powerful animals even though that are not what the country needs. Some have done their research, with others have no clue in what’s wrong with it. It is time to show that the plants are a good for the people around them no matter what others say.
GMOs have a long history in a certain way, as they have been in artificial selection even though it is just forcing to organisms to mate with

The use of the organisms doesn’t really change them by any means shape or form. Of the organism as they look, for the most part, the same exact except for some for the better. The herbicide was one of the big points of the genetic engineering as the plants would sometimes die from the use of herbicides like RoundUp, Weed and Feed, Moss/Fungus control, and etc. The use of herbicides has went up since plants are able to stay alive longer now that they are engineered to survive this poison. The GMOs have done the opposite with pesticides. The organisms are now able to kill off the pest that eat them with some genetic engineering to corn and cabbage. Corn has the ability to kill insects such as cutworms, seed corn maggots, wireworms, and many others that are known for eating the non-genetically modified crops. Cabbage also is able to kill insects like cabbage worms, and cabbage loppers that eat them before genetic engineering. The one bad thing is that these insects would have to eat the plant before being killed the now natural toxin that kills insects but harmless to
