Imagine a medieval society where trade and science flourish and crime and discrimination are low. This was the society formed after the conquests of Genghis Khan in the 1200s; after his death the Mongol empire entered the Pax Mongolica or the Mongol peace. Genghis Khan was not bloodthirsty or cruel, but rather misunderstood. For example, unlike many rulers at that time, he was very tolerant of religion, allowing freedom of religion, race accepting anyone into his empire, and gender, allowing women more rights than other rulers back then.
