Cancer has many effects and complications. This disease also affects the friends and family of the person diagnosed. The average cost for a treatment of chemotherapy is approximately $7,000. Over an eight-week period it can be as high as $30,000. Other medication for cancer can cost an average of $10,000 per month. Some medication can go as high as $30,000 per month.
