The Gospel Of Life is Jesus message. It is to be preached as "good news" to the people of every age and culture in this world today. We have to help spread this news. The Gospel Of Life is translated from Evangelium Vitae, A papal encyclical promulgated on March 25,1995 by Pope John Paul II.This passage tells us more about human life including murder, abortion, euthanasia and capital punishment. This reaffirms the Church's stances on said issues with previous Church teachings. Beginning with an overview of threats to human life both recently and in the past, the encyclical tells us a brief history of the many biblical prohibitions against killing.

Gods holy law is you shall not kill. Every humans life is sacred and they deserve to live. Killing others comes with many consequences, one being the death penalty.Killing is not the answer. According to John Paul II and the magisterium the only potentially acceptable use of the death penalty is when it would not otherwise be possible to defend society, a situation that is rare if not non-existent today.

The second passage I read about refers to Abortion.Out of all the crimes which can be committed against life, procured abortion has made it very serious and deplorable. The Second Vatican Council defines abortion as an "unspeakable crime." (citing Gaudiem Etspes) The texts of Sacred Scripture had never explained the opinion or questioning of abortion, so they do not condemn it. They show such much respect for the human being in the mother's stomach that they require as a logical consequence that God's commandment "You shall not kill" be extended to the unborn child as well, Christian Tradition as the Declaration issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith speaks to the world that abortion is a grave moral disorder.
