When I was thinking about what level I should choose for this essay the last mission for Halo 3 was the first thing that I thought of, and one of the few missions I remember parts of. This was the final mission in Halo 3 Master Chief and the Arbiter take a pelican and crash land it on the Halo. The goal/objective for the player is to activate the halo and destroy the flood who will affect and kill the entire universe if not eliminated, and the reward is beating the campaign, and saving the universe becoming the hero and legend that will never be forgotten. The path leading to the control room is straightforward. The path is clear and visible to the player, so they will have no trouble going the right direction. The level flows well, you do not have to stop to look for loot, the enemies you encounter can drop weapons that can be looted and used, so you should not be put in a position …show more content…
The Halo series also has a lot of unique sound that trigger when certain things happen, such as, the beeping noise when your shield is depleted, and the weapons sounds are satisfying and make them fun to use. Once the player reaches the control room a cutscene plays where a character turn against you and triggers a boss fight. The fight is not very difficult, but it is very intense because of the situation you are put in. If you do not kill the robot firing laser beams at you the whole universe will be lost. The narrative of Halo is what makes fights like these more enjoyable. There are characters throughout the game that you work with and get attached too, the story of Halo is one of things that make the game worth playing. The universe of Halo takes the player through the universe where humans and aliens work together. The art throughout the game is one of a kind. Advance technology mixed in with nature makes the level amazing, and one of things that makes Halo unique from other FPS
