Have you ever wondered if a homeless is actually homeless and not lying about it? How about if they haven't ate in days? Making a change to a homeless person can change your life and theirs. One simple way you can help make a change is just by feeding them. For example, taking a homeless person out to eat at McDonalds. You buy them a burger and fries and it can change their life just by you are feeding them. It may just be one person, but you just stopped the hunger they've been fighting for days, maybe even weeks. Poverty has forced many americans to struggle with hunger that affect many families. Families suffering from poverty end up buying less food and cheaper food than normal. Hunger weakens families and systemically begins to impair the country's collective ability to reach to its full potential. Childrens whose families suffer from hunger are not able to engage into things like other children. “Estimates indicate that 53 percent of deaths among preschool age children in the developing world are due to complications caused by malnutrition on top of diseases such as measles, pneumonia, and diarrhea” (World Hunger). Citizens all around the world pay attention to famous people more than a random person holding a sign to stop world hunger. “Feeding America” is known world round and it is where famous people go and help and feed children and adults.
