They are much to busy to bother people or other animals.Honey bees are insectes, all insects have six legs and three main body parts. The three main body parts are the head thorax and the abdomen. Honey bees arew only about 3/4 of an inch long. Hney bees live in hives. Each honey bee hasin the hive has a special job.For instice the worker bees are the femal the do all the work on the inside of the hive. The worker bee cares for her larva (baby eggs ),make wax , build honeycombs and clean the hive. Worker bees also store pollen and nector. Male bees are called drones. The queen has rules to the hive. She is the largest bee in the hive . The queen is the only bee to mate and lay eggs. The eggs will become drones,workers,or new queens dependding on the time of year and age of the hive.Aftershe makes new queens , the old queens wwill leave the hive along with some other worker bees and they will go make a new hive.The first new queen will kill all the other baby queens and take over the hive. The worker bees and drones eat nector and pollen from the flowers to make honey.Nectar is the liquid in a flower, and pollen is a powdery substance found in flowers.The larvae eat the honey. The queen eats the royal jelly a paste made by the worker bees. Honey bees use nectar and pollen to make honey. The worker bees collect nectar and pollen from flowers .
