Franklin d Roosevelt was an amazing man. He served as for president for 12 years and help get America through the great depression and during World War 2. These times were the hardest times for America and he knew that going into office. He served as one of the greatest men ever and he helped fix one of the greatest countries ever in its hardest times. He is known for one of the greatest men to exist in america and without him we wouldn't know how america would be today. We owe a lot to him and these are the reason why. When Franklin was elected into office he won with a landslide which means the votes favored him beyond compared to other elections. He not only did this when he first was elected but also for the other three terms he served. He won every time but a major amount of votes that were in his favor. This means he gave people who lost so much by giving back. He gave them obs which helped give them houses and food and money to help support their families. With the great depression Franklin helped keep people alive during this time and is one of the main reason people loved him and kept on wanting him to be their president term after term. Another way he helped give back to the people he created the CCC. Which was the civilian conservation corps. These gave the young men jos to support their troubled families.They mainly planted over billions of trees which helped make national and state parks which gave people jobs and money for their families.
