On August 28 of 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have A Dream” speech. The “I Have Dream Speech” is King’s most well-known and iconic speech. King has affected the world that we live in today by inspiring many, changing modern society, and changing the minds of millions of people around the world. Dr. Martin Luther King has inspired me to be unafraid to stand up for what I believe in. He has shown me that anything -even the unimaginable- can be achieved with peace. He opened the eyes of many Americans and showed people that no man or woman is inferior to another person no matter what race or gender they are.
