According to Teasley (2013), experience shows that a person who moves to a new cultural environment, which is different from one’s own, undergoes the difficulties in transition to another type of life. People are constantly shocked by the local culture practice and simultaneously have to cope in order to avoid the obstacles such as in Information overload, language barrier, technology gap, skills and interdependency, homesickness, boredom and response ability. It is often oblivioushowever;cultural adaptation is inevitable for a person living in new cultural environments;as it requires various influences to pull a person to adapt to the new culture. Africans as other foreigners who migrate and live in China experiences the various influences upon their living. Africans living in China encounter different cultural influences that pull them to adapt some Chinese culture.However, the exploration of Afro-cultural identity and adaptation of Chinese culture among the Africans who living in china has not been well recognized, therefore, the question of to what extent African cultural identity and adaptation has been affected by Chinese culture is a crucial aspect to understand the adaptation of Chinese culture among Africans. Although some Africans cope in Chinese culture in different ways, still there are effects that existed among them on their living. In some cases adaptations could be in some aspects whereby some Africans would remain to practice culture within the new culture.
