Our founding fathers discussed about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and created the revolutionary idea of the American Dream; the idea of achieving something you greatly desire with time and effort; the fact that wealth and comfort is possible in your future. The American Dream is a remarkable, one-of-a-kind opportunity for immigrants. Many can accomplish the American Dream. The dream is something that most people can accomplish.
The possibility of the outcome in the Dream is endless. Depending on your factors of effort and time, most people can reach their goal of the Dream. For immigrants, America is of land for escape and a land of opportunities. An immigrant that accomplished the dream is my parents, and they have told me it was very difficult to get into America. “It’s hard receiving money when the currency difference is big” (Mom 1). The RMS, or the Asian currency, is six times higher; therefore, a dollar is 6.32 RMB. For an immigrant wanting to go to America, with a high difference in economy is extremely hard. In a recent Pew Research Center study, the statics show that Americans can accomplish their dreams as well. The data gathered shows that most people are on their way of achieving their dreams; but some Americans believe they cannot, as back then in America when segregation was a big topic, and altered the factors of people achieving it.
