Identifying Hypocrites In the story, Tartuffe, written by Jean-Baptise Poquelin, known by his pseudonym Moliere, there were numerous situations in which the characters believed that Tartuffe was acting as a hypocrite. The word “Hypocrisy” is a special word in this story due to the fact that hypocritical activities plays an invertible role throughout the story.
