Us as human beings and being taught that the world was made for us, we have treated it as if we weren't made to cherish and take care of it, Not having knowledge that the environment and world will fight back. Man has done many things that harm our world and would be called flawed by those who decide what's good and bad but it would be called natural by those who do it and those who live in this generation, because of the things we have done to the world people have found many ways to warn us about our world problems and what we should do about it. The Obligation to Endure states “All this is not to say there is no insect problem and no need for control. I am saying rather, that control must be geared to realities, not to mythical situations, and that the methods employed must be such that they do not destroy us along with the insects” Chemicals being made to kill insects isn't intended to kill off humans, but these chemicals are so strong and used in high amounts that they will eventually kill us both. Chemicals have been around for long and used in a good way but they shouldn't have the ability to destroy us and our environment. This can be correlated to Ishmael which states “The world was made for man to conquer and rule but his conquest turned out to be more destructive than was anticipated” The people who made the chemicals and even those who use them have no or little to no knowledge about what it is doing to the environment and mankind.
