Justin Timberlake Justin Timberlake is a man of many accomplishments and skills. His skills range from acting, to being a comedian, to what he is most well-known for, being an extremely talented musician. Even at a young age Justin knew he wanted to show his talents and perform. This aspect of Justin’s life plays a major role throughout and is always a prospect in his life. In Memphis, Tennessee, Justin started his career at a very young age. He started his passion for performing when he was just a child singing in his church. He additionally was a stunning warm-up act for local contests, and even then he knew how to work a crowd (Schwartz, 9). When he was eleven years old, he went on a show called Star Search. Justin advanced far along on the show but did not end up winning. Starting the band was a huge milestone in Justin’s life and really got people interested in his personal life. “They also followed his romantic relationship with the former Mickey Mouse cast-member-turned-pop-princess Britney Spears” (Schwartz, 18). However, Justin Timberlake wasn't in the band and the music business just for the fame. He often would talk about growing as a person and making even greater accomplishments. This idea that was always running through his mind is what caused him to break free from the popular boy band and raise into a solo artist. Justin grew into an even larger star when he released his first solo album Justified in 2002. “During the months following Justified’s release, Justin worked with well-known professional musicians: the Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Snoop Dogg, and Charlie Wilson” (Schwartz, 22).
